I've recently joined O2 on a SIM only plan for my wife and I'll be looking to port over her number from EE after her birthday. I'm getting her an Apple watch to go with it but when I try to order it, i have to join it to the temporary number assigned to the new SIM, pending her old number being ported over. If I order the watch with the temporary number, will it still work once her old number has been ported across? If not, what would I have to do to move it over to her new (old) number?

Thanks in advance.
