My dad died 18 months ago and I closed his account with 02. I now wish to use his IPhone SE as my work phone and although I know the unlock code so can access everything on the phone, I don't know what his Apple id was so can't reset the phone or unlock it from O2. My work contract is with Vodafone so I need to unlock the phone.

I have tried to do it online but O2 replied is that the IMEI has not been used on our network with the MPN provided.??????????
No answer on the helplines due to lockdown, no online chat available.

I really want to use my dads phone. Please help.

But you'll probably need to call customer service.

When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.
