I cannot connect to internet when out

My daughters iphone XS cannot connect to the internet when out of the house.

Msg we get is Safari cannot open the page because your iphone is not connected to the internet. My phone and others are fine so its not network. Tried restoring network settings. It has never worked outside of the house.

I can only try things and then test when we leave the house but nothing seems to be working.

You can turn wifi off to check data use when at home.

First check that mobile data is turned on in settings and then scroll down that page to see a list of all your apps.

Make sure that all the switches are green next to apps you want to use on data.

Check the APN settings too

It may be that she has the wrong data bolt on

It should be idata setting for the APN : idata.o2.co.uk

Alternatively try APN : mobile.o2.co.uk
