Notifications on Facebook not working on lock screen or when I’m using the phone no sound or vibrations when I get a notification could someone know how to resolve this?

Check the notification settings for the Facebook app and set the banner style you require.
If all is set ok try a rest of the phone by holding the home and power buttons together until the Apple logo appears on screen. Also make sure Facebook app is up to date with latest version.

@Ryan1 Re FB, you could try deleting the app and reinstalling?

Usually cures a few glitches....

Tried that also but still doesn’t show on lock screen etc even tho all notifications are all set to show..

Happened to me too & ive tried all the steps above too & they don’t work. What iOS are you on? I’m on 12.1 & I’m thinking it’s since iOS 12. I have to keep opening the app to see if I have any notifications

It's likely to be a development bug as beta software can still be released with some of the smaller issues unresolved or overlooked. If you are using the latest iOS build then I imagine Facebook will address this in the next update, considering how many iPeople exist.

Same here as all my other app notifications work including fb messenger, fb pages, insta, WhatsApp etc just not the main FB app

I contemplated going iPhone a couple of times. You may gain in hardware in some respects unless you are moving from a really high-end model like Note 9, S9+ or Mate 20 Pro. What you is lose interoperability when you need to do simple data transfers between devices unless approved by Apple.

I know you can do it with Linux with the correct software components although that's not for the weak minded.

Hey guys let us know if you notice any improvement to these notifications as it would be interesting to hear how this develops. Hopefully not a long wait!
