Does anyone know how to get onto your text messages? My phone had died an need to get to messages to get verification codes to close down my iCloud to re open on anther device??

Your best option is to put your sim in another phone,either an O2 or unlocked phone. None app or customer can read the content of previous apps so you might want to download this which backs them up to Gmail.

You’ll need to login online if you can remember your password and recovery key or if you have another trusted device such as an iPad etc.
