Did you get it in time? Was it brand new and the same colour etc?
I have an S7 and dropped it last week; the case is cracked but I have no idea how badly. It may, or may not, have compromised the waterproofing so I am reluctant to send it back because of some of the horror stories about what the insurance companies send to replace one's damaged or stolen phones that are fully insured.

Thank you in anticipation.

Gemini566

As soon as the process and verify your claim.
If straightforward, it should be within 24 hours but you can always call and check with customer service http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Most customers are happy with O2 insurance refurbishment and yes you tend only to hear the bad experiences on here.

However, you have been paying for a replacement service so unless you want to hang on to a damaged phone, I don't see that you have any other option but to claim.
