    <description>Thank you for sharing the story &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:"&gt;😄&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I remember a while back a similar story where a persons iPod touch was stolen ,and as the other person took pictures they uploaded onto the original owners iCloud stream.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The true owner started uploading the pictures on Facebook if I remember ,to show their faces and shame them I suppose !&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yes FindMyiPhone activation is part of the set up process now ,and can only be de activated by the original Apple ID Password. Called activation lock.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There have been a lot of instances of this happening.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think it can be good to try to help find the devices if they have been stolen.&amp;nbsp; However sometimes it is a bit of a tease seeing pics of the person who now has your device (whether they took it or not) and not being able to get it back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think iCloud may be more helpful than Find My Phone as, in my experience, Find My Phone doesn't find exact areas and it can easily be turned off.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
