Buffering symbol

I have an iPhone 6, each time I unlock and go to the home screen the little buffering symbol next to the wifi signal starts going around, anyone know why this is?

Don't worry.

It's just telling you its accessing the Internet or an app etc.

I'd guess at the wifi reconnecting - The 4s does it too as the wifi is disabled when the screen is locked.

When I go onto an app it stops then when I return to home screen it starts up again and just keeps going until the phone re locks

Try a reset of your iPhone by ;

Holding the Top Sleep/Wake Button and Home Button until the Apple Logo appears, and then let go of both. Your iPhone will reset.

And or ;

Settings , General , Reset , Reset Network Settings.

Or go into the pull up control centre and turn airplane mode on and off or Bluetooth on and off.

This should reset it too.
