Hi.

You need to be a pay monthly customer.

If so turn on the hotspot on your iPhones settings.

You may need to ring O2 on 202 to enable tethering.

Unless you seem a hotspot option in your main settings menu then you'll be unable to do this.

Why O2 limit this to pay monthly customers only though I don't know, data is data.

A very question put at O2 by me on a few occasions.

I think they are concerned about congestion

No one on a contract from O2 will have unlimited data on 4G. As O2's 4G rollout will still take some time to complete, I'm happy to keep my unlimited data on 3G with my legacy contract. I'm also waiting to see what GiffGaff's policy is going to be regarding 4G, and that should be happening very soon.

Like the other members have said, you will need to be a pay monthly customer.

If you are a pay monthly customer and you are still not seeing the Personal Hotspot option in Settings. Then this maybe that you are on an old tariff. Tariffs since around 2011 (I think it was) include Tethering.
