      <description>Got a new iphone 5s and although I have wi-fi connection whenever I try to turn on i-messages and face time either with or without signing in with apple password it says there's a problem with activation and to check my network connection??</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Text the word "active" to 2020 then save the settings that get sent back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then try and activate over mobile data.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Try doing a reset by doing the following and see if it helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button. Continue to hold them while the iPhone switches off, keep holding them until you see the Apple logo appear on the screen, when you see this, stop pressing the buttons.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yep, i have sim in phone, activated and am sending green messages ok. &amp;nbsp;Im wondering if its to do with still getting imessages on my old phone with same no even tho i have no o2 service on there it is still receiving imessages. &amp;nbsp;I have tried switching the wi fi off on that phone and trying to activate imessages on the new phone again but still no joy and then when i turn the wi fi back on the old phone all the messages start coming through there!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>O2 Network Internet.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will Need to turn Mobile data on when out of range of wifi.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Apple link on setting up iMessage &lt;A target="_blank" href="http://www.apple.com/uk/ios/messages/"&gt;http://www.apple.com/uk/ios/messages/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you have a data allowance in your O2 tariff.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should be showing 3G or 4g in the phones status bar.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is needed to be turned on to allow iMessage to work.</description>

Using Google will highlight these. Some had issues when updating to iOS7 and found that in most cases the problem just resolved itself !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good luck.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
