Hi I am new to the forum so forgive me if this has been asked before.

I have an I Phone 5. I synced my settings along with 853 E mails that are stated in red but are not on the phone. How can I get rid of the phantom 853 figure??

Thanks in anticipation.

I have occasionally had this bug where it shows I have emails, when infact I haven't.

What I normally do which I find works is:

Go into Settings, scroll down to Mail, Contacts, Calendars, touch this.

Next touch one of your email accounts and then follow the below screen shot. You will need to do this for all your email accounts too.
