My contract is coming to an end in March and I want to get a sim card on 3 network to use in my current phone.

What do I need to do?

You will need to contact CS on 202 or live chat to either cancel your contract or request a pac code if you wish to retain your mobile number.

Once the other network uses the PAC code your contract will cancel.

It's best to also put this in writing via recorded delivery.

If you don't your o2 contract will drop onto a 30 day rolling contract.

If you cancel early then O2 will then let you know whether you have fulfilled any contractual agreement you may have with them and any fees applicable.

Don't cancel any direct debits until the final bill has been paid.

You only need to cancel in writing by recorded delivery if you don't want to keep your number and use a PAC code. The use of a PAC code automatically terminates the old account once the number transfers over
