If TuGo is suitable for your phone and you have access to wi-fi you can make calls using your normal UK allowance, see the Roaming section here:

You should turn voicemail off before leaving the UK by calling 1760 unless using TuGo which will keep it turned on.

Hi,

Another option I would suggest if you have your iphone unlocked to all networks is to use a local sim card whilst you are there.

Its free to contract customers and £15 to Payg Customers.

If your on a refresh tariff and using an iPhone 5s or 5c then you would have to pay off the handset price plan before o2 supply an unlocking solution.
