Today I purchased the official Apple iPhone 5s Dock and thought I'd share my opinion.

Compatibility : iPhone 5 & iPhone 5s.

Price : £25.00.

Pro's.

Audio line-out port that connects to powered speakers.

Supports other iPhone 5 accessories, such as the Lightning to USB Cable.

Carry out speakerphone calls with your iPhone in its dock.

Grey Bottom padding.

Con's.

No cut out in the front of the dock to comfortably use the Touch ID.

iPhone will not engage into the dock with an original or 3rd party case fitted.

Lightening Cord not supplied.

The dock like all Apples products is very well made and holds the iPhone very well.

However with the dock not allowing in my opinion easy access to the touch ID, and the iPhone will not engage unless it has no case on it I will be returning the item and start looking for alternatives.

Users who like the simplistic design and do not use a protective case and may find access to the touch ID easier for them would be content with this accessory.
