Check your service status

http://status.o2.co.uk

Try a soft reboot first.

Hold the Top Button and Home Button until the Apple Logo appears, and then let go of both. Your iPhone will reset.

I agree and good luck.

A sim swap can take up to approx 24 hours.

Turning the phone off and on helps reset the signal.

My advice is always
1 Check for issues at http://status.o2.co.uk
2 try reboots / resets
3 get a new sim (even though it may be a fresh one)
4 then get the the handset checked.

Then you have covered all the bases.

I had a micro sim that was bad from day 1 in the past and I guess the nano sim will be even more fragile.

Surprised you were not advised earlier to try a new sim

If your service status is showing fine them it is conceivable that you are
Unlucky to be given a faulty iPhone.

Try a reboot by pressing the top button and home button together until the apple logo appears and let go. Also check the speakers are clear of dust and lint.

Perhaps seek advice via a genius bar appointment.
