So we have the 5c plastic iPhone and iPhone 5s in silver , gold and space grey.

Note it's no longer called champagne as the makers of the wine complained !

Battery life quoted at 10 hrs 3G talk time. Lte browsing , wifi browsing , video 8 hrs. 3G browsing , 40 hrs , 250 hours standby.

Touch i.d is confirmed for the 5s.

Ring around the home button is a detection ring that turns in the sensor. Button is sapphire to avoid scratching.

Touching the home button now unlocks the iPhone 5s

Also allows iTunes and App Store purchases.

Can handle multiple fingerprints.

Capacitive touch to read fingerprints. All fingerprints encrypted.

Apple Store (UK) lists 4 versions of the 5S with all the relevant LTE bands

O2 compatibility not listed (they only have 3 mentioned on the web-page

We need O2 to state if new phone is compatible with the LTE they are deploying

I think the prices of the handsets are going to be competitive which should open up the market.

They certainly have improved the new iphone by improving what's under the hood.

Better camera and camera specs.

Finger print sensor with the ability to both unlock and make app store purchases.

a7 chip improves over iphone 5 a6 chip.

Better battery specs {time will tell if this is true in the real world}

I was hoping for say a 128gb model but unfortunately this has not happened.

I'm also interested to see what the competitors do !

Whether you are starting a new service contract, using your existing one or choosing Pay as you go, you need a compatible SIM. For iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s you need a nano-SIM card.

Model A1530*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); FDD-LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20); TD-LTE (Bands 38, 39, 40)

I believe O2 use band 20 and the latter model (A1530) is better suited to Europe as it supports TD-LTE which may be in use in Sweden

02 hopefully will make it official on their 02 Homepage that the iPhone's will support 4G/Lte.

perksie confirmed that O2's LTE frequency is there...just Apple forgot (or something went wrong) to add them.

Looks like Model A1533 (USA) is the model to get, since it also supports O2's LTE band and most bands in America. Shame the iPhones that will sell here in the UK will not share the same bands.
