IPhone5 MMS Size

I find that taking and sendling photos is a hit and miss affair.

When it's iPhone to iPhone it seems ok but to other phones, not so good.

I think it's to do with the massive size of the photo!

When sending with my old phone used to say that the pic was too big do you want to resize.

Can the iPhone5 be made to do this? I don't want to bother with editing software, I want to be spontaneous!

I notice there is an attribute under, Settings/General/Mobile Data/Mobile Data Network/ MMS Max Message Size.

Mine it set to 2097152.

Can this be altered? Will it help my prob?

Have you tried the cimple things like switching your phone off and on again to reset it?

This seems to be a common issue on the iPhone 5 across all networks.

can you follow the guide on this page: http://mobileguide.o2.co.uk/devices/device.jsp?deviceId=666&tab=8&step=2&settingId=3303 and make sure all of those settings are correct.

One thing to do is remove the 2097152 from the MMS Size. It should repopulate.

Then restart the phone again and see if its worked.

Hi,

My settings are the same within my iphone 5 and only suffer the occasional glitch which is to resend.
