As MI5 says however I've personally never had a need to make use of it !

If using on 3g it will eat up your data fast

Facetime is free, but bear in mind that if you use Facetime a lot over 3G it will use a bit of data.

A five minute FaceTime call, over 3G, will use, give or take, about 15MB's of data.

I tend to only use Facetime over wifi. Any time I've used Facetime it always works perfectly.

The last time I used it was whilst on a shopping trip. My mother had asked me to get her something when I got there and I done a Facetime call with her so that I could show her what I'd seen, and we could both see that it was the same item (as it was the same item she was wanting me to get). I found it really useful
