topic Faulty SIM card in Apple

I send short texts and do not include any photos, etc. but for some reason these texts are being charged at the MMS rate.

When I contacted O2 Chat Line I was told the charges are computerised so there could not be an error and I must have sent MMS texts. This ridiculous as some texts were only 30 characters!

I wonder if the SIM card could be faulty and is not recognising SMS texts? Is this possible?

It is possible the sim card could be faulty.

Is 02 sending you a replacement to see if that helps.

Also removing your sim and giving it a wipe and general clean around the sim insert port can help.
