First big hit I bought, Pictures of Matchstick Men. Simple guitar chords but an unmistakable sound. Very sad loss in this truly awful year.

Just told my other half. Shocked him to the core. Apparently Rick was in Spain and died from an infection? I was positive it would have been another heart attack. Sick of 2016 now

That may well have been so @jonsie but you never heard any scandal attached to them ever. Quo were another group who, as soon as their music started, you knew who they were....

Been thinking about The Quo ... & my strongest thought was of them opening Live Aid concert in 1985 with Rocking All Over The World ... I have it taped onto audio cassette ... my very young son was sat upon my knee & we watched it together
