It'll be fixed with a fw update done on ones ready to ship.
I bet voltage regulator needs limiting to lower temps.

Looks like Samsung are recalling the Note 7 and its not the charger thats at fault but the battery from understanding the reports. 3 in Ireland have already recalled them

Yes, but my compo was for fairly low scale disruption for them.

Free Mont Blanc covers and £100 vouchers to eveyone who's got or ordered a Note 7 would be expensive for them!
