I was on virgin mobile got put over to 02

Was on virgin mobile transfured to 02. Why this has been so wrong is virgin was on Vodafone network. I went out got a G5 phone and was connecting to G5 all great. Then moved to 02 pay more than I was and where I live no G5 just G4 and not best one either standard. Been told by 02 nothing at all about getting G5 here. I live in South UK only 60miles from London. So phone I spent out on waist of money and pay more for getting less G5 been out for ages now. Bout time 02 got there act together sort there network out so you get what your paying for. Think it's terrible put money there making to get G5 network like they should.not lineing there pockets for such a big network it's aweful

Virgin Mobile was an EE-MVNO for many years, they moved to VF for a short time before Virgin Media then merged with O2.

No network guarantees any particular "G" in any particular area, but out of interest - what do you want to use your phone for, that needs 5G and for which 4G isn't sufficient?

The move from Vodafone to O2 happened ages ago. You were given the opportunity to leave at the time of the joint Venture, you have had ample opportunity since

If Vodafone is good for you then it's a no brainer to move to them

Be aware though Vodafone and Three will be combining in the future so things may change there
