      <title>Retrieving old o2 Number</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an old o2 number I need to retrieve.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was advised ( and lied to ) by o2 stating that if I took out a pay monthly contract they could indeed reactivate my old number and it would be preloaded on the sim, sim car arrived, wrong number etc..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After speaking back with o2 ( hours of my week wasted ) I was told this could not be done.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need the number back, I still have it loaded on whatsapp to receive messages and calls, will this aid in an way.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can also provide numbers called etc, credit card topped up from etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any advice appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Seems you have fallen for the hard sell which seems to be happening more since the Virgin takes over.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It will depend on how long the number has been disconnected and if it was an O2 number and not ported in whether it can be retrieved&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Personally I would keep with the social media team. The normal customer services are useless, as you have found&lt;/P&gt;</description>
