This is absolutely horrific. Liam was 31 years of age.

I watched One Direction being formed on X Factor. They became one of the most successful boy bands in the UK.

He has a 7 year old son with Cheryl Cole from Girls Aloud.

I am so shocked to hear this news.

Apparently in Argentina to see ex band mate Niall Horan who was performing in a show.

Fans are now gathering outside the hotel to pay their respects.

I thought he had overcome the mental health and alcohol issues a little time ago

I can imagine the struggle of coming to fame at such a tender age and trying to maintain the adulation of millions of fans
