O2 don't send out PAYG SIM cards unsolicited. The fact an EE one has come yo your address makes the whole thing suspiciou

If they are PAYG then as they will be unregistered they can be ignored

Hi all,

today I received two sim cards which I believe are pay as you go from o2 which were not requested. One is addressed to me and one to my sister (who hasn't lived at the address for a number of years now), we also recieved one from EE addressed to a name we do not recognise. Does anyone know the deal with this? I'm just assuming that our details were apart of a leaked database with our names and address but i'm not sure how sending out sim cards would benefit someone unless it's apart of some referral scheme.

I've also contacted o2 who verified the numbers linked to the sims but they cannot view who requested them and told me to take the sims to an o2 shop.
