Tomorrow`s WEG Game - Changes to Times/Rules

As from tomorrow [Tues 10 Oct], the timings and rules of WEG [Words Ending Game] will change.

This, in part, is to give more a chance to take part who may have commitments or work.

The game will be posted early tomorrow morning - to give players a chance to search out words and/or make lists to words.

START - 9.00am.

I will post a message at 9.00am - Today`s WEG is now open.

Note - No words are to be posted before the message.

Any words given will be replied to but no points will be awarded.

BREAK - 2.00pm to 6.00 pm.

I will post a message at 2.00pm - STOP THE GAME FOR BREAK.

Note - No words are to be posted after the message.

Any words given after the message will be replied to but no points awarded.

RESTART - 6.00pm.

I will post Update at 6.00pm followed by a message WEG RESTART - YOU MAY NOW POST.

NOTE - No words are to be posted before the message WEG RESTART.

Any words given during BREAK and BEFORE the RESTART MESSAGE will be replied to but no points will be awarded.

GAME ENDS - 9.00pm [unless Game is completed earlier].

I will post message at 9.00pm - "WEG ENDS".

Any words given after message "WEG ENDS" will not count.

If all the words in list have NOT been found, I will post the missing words.

After GAME ENDS, I will post LEAGUE TABLE of players and their scores.

I hope our resident wordsmiths

@Cleoriff @pgn @gmarkj @TallTrees @BobM @Dave-O2

will join in with the WORDS ENDING GAME and will find the new times/rules allow those who have work or commitments to join in later and/or to leave and return later to play.

I look forward to welcoming and other member, who have played previous word games or are new to the 02 Community.

If anyone has any questions about the changes, please post below and I will reply as soon as possible.

09:00 to 14:00, then a pause, then 18:00 to 21:00 - sounds good, @Mi-Amigo 👍

All sounds great @Mi-Amigo.

I think it will also give you a break and a chance to check WEG and make sure no words have been missed or repeated with a fast flowing period of time with posts leapfrogging etc

START > BREAK > RESTART The new motto of WEG!! 😂

As you said, the break will give everyone a chance to check WEG and Updates to avoid words given.

I like the new WEG motto - START - BREAK - RESTART 😄
