Two hearts as one,

Yours and mine,

They beat in harmony.

Time stands still

When I'm with you,

I'm home in your arms.

When I am with you,

I'm home,

I'm safe

You mean the world to me

My love,

My sweetheart.

Call me daft,

Call me soft,

I am only me.

You lift me when I'm down

You give me hope

A reason to smile.

I reach out my hand

You make me smile,

Laugh so much

I forget what makes me sad

The memories we've made

Weave together

Like a tapestry.

We have our ups and downs

But we always come out smiling

Our bond ever stronger.

I turn to you

Like a flower towards the sun,

Thriving in your friendship.

You bring out the best in me

That hidden, real me.

You see me for who I am

No facade, no mask

Just me.

Thank you my friend

For taking a chance

To speak to that shy girl.

The awkward one

Who had no confidence.

And for that I'm forever grateful.
