Hey guys,

how are you doing in this second heatwave? I am officially back from my UK trip and you guys have been amazing travel guides. A very special thanks to @MI5 @TallTrees @Mi-Amigo @gmarkj @Cleoriff and @Anonymous for their tips on where to go and what to see.

As I have never left London properly and as I had an amazing time I thought some might be interested in a little recap of my holiday. So let me show you where I went and what I did. I couldn’t do all of what you mentioned but there is always a next time.

I've been to Bath which is a beautiful historical city.

Of the other places you've mentioned I have been to them all except The Eden Project.

I love Devon, Cornwall and Bournemouth.

You really did get to see a lot.

It was beautiful @Cleoriff and so lucky with the weather. The Eden Project was super cool but would recommend going there once corona is over - wearing a mask in a greenhouse is rather hot

Brought back lots of childhood memories - on the beach at Sennen Cove, the walk up the cobbled streets in Clovelly, and remember, like you, how much I liked going across to St Michaels Mount.

Walking up Clovelly was quite a task haha and it was raining cats and dogs when we got there

Looks like you had a great time!
We took a 4x4 adventure half day when we were down that way (before we had our daughter).
Was great fun going up and down some rather steep hills and saw some amazing scenery.
I was "volunteered" to be the gate keeper - jumping out every time we had to open and close a gate - so maybe not as relaxing as it could have been, but fun all the same.

To be fair I think I was the youngest person in the vehicle (there were 6 or 7 plus the driver) so not surprised I was voted in!

Mid 20's, so not exactly young but the rest were mid 40s or older...

Good to hear that you had such an interesting holiday. The photos are really lovely. UK coast is fantastic, looks like you travelled quite a distance.
Thanks for posting the photos.
It's very difficult to say where to visit, every place has its unique features.
York in North Yorkshire, it is a Roman town, has old Roman walls a walled city. The river Ouse runs through this town also home to The National Railway Museum. It also has many Tudor buildings. Nearby is Harrogate with its famous example of the most complete 19C Turkish Baths. Agatha Christie spent "quite time" in Harrogate! The surrounding towns villages and countryside is special. Buxton in Derbyshire another spa town in the spectacular Peak district.
