Ok I'll start off as I'm a bit of a numpty on factual information...

Did You Know?

Lake Victoria, located at the intersection of Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, is so large that if the entire population of Earth went for a swim, they’d each have a roomy 83 or so square feet to themselves...

is also considered the most dangerous.. more deaths recorded in that body of water per year than any other! I'll skip the team bath...

and the 1,200,000 mosquitoes would be female.

Male mosquitoes would be sucking nectar but I don`t know how many, each sucking at once, it would take to completely drain a plant...

Some fungi create zombies, then control their minds

The tropical fungus Ophiocordyceps infects ants’ central nervous systems. By the time the fungi been in the insect bodies for nine days, they have complete control over the host’s movements. They force the ants to climb trees, then convulse and fall into the cool, moist soil below, where fungi thrive. Once there, the fungus waits until exactly solar noon to force the ant to bite a leaf and kill it.

I love fungi [well, mushrooms]... I`m just grateful I`m not an ant...

There are between two and eight tiny recording heads inside your computer's hard-drive - and in normal operation, it's as if one recording head was a Boeing 747 flying at cruising speed along a football pitch at a height of one inch above the grass, and counting every blade of grass as the pitch passed beneath the plane's nose.

With international flights being suspended, football matches called off, and work-from-home -

we can put this to test

we need someone to fly a jumbo over Old Trafford and some geek to check his/her pc hard drive

- and then to compare the results
