Making calls is painful. They always drop out - and I do mean always.
We have a "boostbox" at work and even with phones getting a full signal, no one can make it work for calls.
We are supposed to have a dedicated EE technical team working on our issue as we manage literally thousands of phones across many contracts but even they are hopeless.
Our company is currently looking at switching to a new provider (note we are a nationwide company so it's not a location based issue).

That's very poor from EE, it's not that surprising that O2 chose to use an app instead of a box, they ran tests on these going back at least 4 years and decided universal use of a box wasn't the way to go.

Their cell towers are hopelessly overloaded. One of the tech guys told us that when they merged to become EE they rationalised many of the T Mob / Orange masts but did it without any (much) thought for capacity. So they shove everything through around 70% of the masts that T Mob / Orange had independantly.....

"The plans will mean both companies will have access to over 18,500 sites, which is an increase of more than 40% for each operator. And, because of the way we’ll be pooling sites, we expect there will be more than a 10% overall reduction in the total number of masts in the UK between both us and Vodafone – a great result for the environment!" source http://www.o2.co.uk/network/future

so a big increase in total masts rembering the deal is mast / site share not equipment I think capacity on o2 / voda will not suffer

I know I could find it out by going to my router's admin page but I don't know the address for it, oh well, a quick trip to the Plusnet forum is in order to find out.

*edited for extra detail and typos*

If you're using data to download songs instead of using your WiFi connection, that isn't O2's fault, it's yours. You can very easily find the Plusnet password if you took the time to ask someone. That's just a total waste of money.

I just did a thread on the Plusnet forum asking, according to one of their Mods it's underneath the router, it isn't, I looked.
