I've never read any of the Discworld books but have seen all the adaptations and am really looking forward to seeing this.

People forget - it's just a story. So it is with:

PS. You should read the book, it's going to be a bit rushed on-screen, I think. My copy, bought some 20years ago, is much-abused, as it has been read, re-read and lent over the years.

Heard about that but was too young.

I have to say, I think the Python stuff was very much of it's time, I've never really found it amusing to be honest.

Watched a quarter of the first episode late last night and it's superb.

I had to stop as I was exhausted as it's been very busy at work and even though it's only been a 4 day week it's felt like five.

Well, with the exception of the last episode (which I intend to watch in a bit), I sat and watched this yesterday and I think it is superb.
