Many teams dominate for a few years but when other teams advance in technology and probably more importantly in chassis and body design then that is whatmakes it more exciting....but at the moment a driver can make a poor team average. Looking forward to this season....

As much as I love Monaco, it's really an awful venue. Not much overtaking, the race invariably won from pole or in the pits.

During the season break I have joined a couple of F1 forums.

God...you dare not mention you support Lewis.

I had one berk call me a fanboy....I gave him 'measured intelligent responses' before calling him a troll. He got quite nasty. Admin have now banned him...

A bit of a controversial statement here from Toro Rosso boss Franz Tost.

He reckons Mercedes engine development should be frozen....until the other teams catch up!!!!!

Ferrari had to abandon Pirelli wet tyre testing yesterday

The opening day of what was supposed to be a two-day test to evaluate Pirelli's 2017 wider rain rubber was cut short after Vettel crashed into the barriers on Thursday.

Video footage of the incident showed he ran off the artificially-soaked track on the shallow left-hand kink after the bridge crossing – hitting the barriers head on. Had a few bruises and hurt his elbow apparently"
