The screen on my iphone has cracked. I have had a quote for £60, however you can buy a screen from ebay for £15. I have been told though that if you buy a cheap screen they are not always that good and you cannt use the touch screen properly, anyone got any tips?

It's down to you but I wouldn't touch anything except an apple replacement. But obviously if you don't have insurance it does cost a bit.

I CRACKED MY IPHONE SCREEN ON SATURDAY, ACCIDENTALLY DROPPING IT ON THE STREET, LUCKILY I HAVE INSURANCE AND ONLY HAD TO PAY £25 EXCESS WHICH GOES ON MY NEXT BILL, DEPENDING IF U GOT 02 INSURE THAT IS.

I did read your post and gave you advice that I would not touch a third party repair, even O2's. There was nothing in your original post to the other thread.

To be fair to me though OP didn't give a lot of info and I could only answer on the basis of what was given. Will go and have a read of yours now.
