Yeah, it's the little details like that you should be checking first.
O2 are testing it but we don't know if or when it will he introduced so as you don't appear to have much patience I suggest you move networks asap

I have just signed up to O2 and I'm very annoyed and disappointed that you don't support Wi-Fi calling.

Are there plans to introduce it anytime soon? If not I will be leaving O2 at the earliest opportunity.

EE and Vodafone both support Wi-Fi calling.

Hi @Anonymous There have been discussions about WiFi calling but as far as we are aware it wont be anytime soon. O2 supports Tugo http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/tu-go

@Anonymous If you've just taken a contract with O2 and are unhappy with their policies and practices, which I would have thought you would have explored before you signed the contract, you have a 14 day cooling off period to change your mind and go to another provider. If you've gone past that 14 day period, and you are on a Refresh contract you would have to pay off your device in full and cancel the air time if you wanted to leave.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I didn't check before signing up as I (naively) assumed that a big company like O2 would be keeping pace with excellent new innovations like Wi-Fi calling.

Unfortunately I was just too late noticing to be able to cancel otherwise I would have. If O2 have not brought in Wi-Fi Calling by the end of my contract I will definitely switch to a provider who supports it.

I've seen Tu go and dislike it as it is not seamless, duplicates other phone functions, and needlessly stores my data. It seems like complexity for the point of complexity. Not a customer-centred piece of design!
