Very unhappy with recent changes to o2 travel. I was charged for 6 days when abroad last month but don't have any record on my device of texting phoning or browsing on these days. While o2 has kindly refunded me as a goodwill gesture, they insist I must have triggered charges. That aside, the £1.99 charge in EU is triggered by just one phone call or one text. There has to be a fairer system. I suggest o2 go back to drawing board.

The biggest problem is that customers don't realise that by default they are opted in and don't read exactly what constitutes usage towards the £1.99/day. ANY usage at all triggers it which is why Live Chat Complaints refunded me and removed O2 Travel as there was no option to remove it myself in My O2.

I use the bolt on quite a lot and find it very useful and good value. It is worth noting that you dont have to make a call or send a trxt to be harged. If you have not turned off your data roaming, as soon as your phone logs on and data is turned on it will register the charge as your background apps(facebook, twitter, email etc) will start to function in the background. You just need to make sure you have truned off data roaming in settings and then you will not be chareged until you either make a call or send a text. Hope this helps
