I have got pocket hotspot and get 100 texts a month with 10Gig of data. I have tried to set up TUGO to send texts, but I get a network error when I try and set it. I need to know how to use the texts.

The texts come with the data sims and are primarily for use in a tablet, rather than a pocket hotspot.
You can get round it with a dongle by putting it in your PC but I can't think of anyway with a hotspot other than putting the sim into another device.

That's what I do with my dongle but didn't know if you could log in to a hotspot the same way.

@MI5 Obviously my experience is from my dongle / wingle that when used as a wifi hotspot on a battery back standalone that is how I used my sms allowance on pay monthly . (Same as the linked document ) so I hope the latest o2 personal hotspots have the same interface as they are the same manufacturer.
