3g isn't getting any better around the UK it need to be looked into and more masts are needed one masts isn't good enough come on 02 you can better than that

Unfortunately we don't know that detail.
O2 had to make a commitment to OFCOM to cover 98% of the population with at least 2mbps 3G by the end of 2017 (part of their 4g license agreement), but the roll out schedule for improvements has not been published.

4g is fine. It's 3g that is heavily congested and slow but this is improving as 4g is been rolled out.

No problem with 4G, many people are still waiting but it is worth the wait. Whether the rollout reaches you before you're contract comes to an end is in the lap of the gods, seems they are the only ones who know the schedule.

Some of my friends have siad that 02 have gone down but in Liverpool it's excellent but everywhere else it's very poor 😞

I have to agree. I've been with O2 for years and where I work there was an ok 2G network but it still had enough signal to allow calls and texts. A couple of weeks ago the signal dropped and I can't do a think with my phone while there. I've called, chatted too and emailed O2 but they claim its fine and nothing has happened. Sadly if they can't fix it I may have to move to EE which is the only sim which gets 4G at my home and work. 😞

I agree re 3G. There is no service in my area. Why does O2 not provide a clear indication of when different areas can expect to receive 3G? I will not remain with O2 if this does not improve soon.

O2 seem to want to keep it a huge secret for some reason.

I agree @Anonymous about you not staying with O2. People need to choose a network that provides the best coverage for them....No point in loyalty if you arent getting a service for your money

We were hoping for some sort of idea when the network team were to hold a virtual interview but it was postponed. That was over two weeks ago so maybe soon?

I can't make any calls at home since they started this work in my area, tu go won't make calls and text messages very hit and miss. My home wifi usage has gone up because it is mostly the only way my phone will work Been a pay and go customer for years. My first contract is up in January, I will not be renewing
