      <description>Its annoying when you can't get a signal, but I'm not sure you can say 'totally unacceptable'. Is there some factor you haven't mentioned, for example, it has been going on for a long time or you haven't had a response from O2/Tesco?</description>

      <description>It happens. Could be down to something outside of O2's control. Or, they may have to send engineers out.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After 17 years with a mobile I can tell you it has happened to me on other networks as well.</description>

      <description>First point of contact would be o2 customer service&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Either on the phone (landline as you have no mobile signal) or via the email contact us section on the o2 home page.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;O2 do not post here it is just customer to customer with a few staff posting as customers.</description>

      <description>And when you contact them, don't forget to tell them what fault finding you have done to eliminate a problem with your SIM or handset. (ie. Try SIM in another phone, try another SIM in your handset, ask other people etc)</description>

      <description>Reboot your handset first before anything, if there has been any upgrades and they have taken a part of the network down then your phone may require a reboot to access the network again.</description>

      <description>yes, I used the advice and also went into Tesco whom the sales adviser told me that I must be about the 100th customer to complain about 02. The network in Dereham is down and I have to wait 72 hours then return to store if still not receiving any signal!</description>

When its fixed why not give Tesco a call and ask for some goodwill to cover the period it is out. &lt;BR /&gt;Hopefully you wont have to wait as long as we did when an obstinate land owner delayed a fix by over a week!</description>

Having been out to places today miles from home and getting a perfect signal, then returning home and getting 'no service', it is pretty obvious to me there IS an issue in the area.&lt;BR /&gt;I'm not sure what you mean by 'someone has installed something causing interference' - there's only me in the house  :robotwink:   More likely, O2 haven't even bothered investigating faults in the area.</description>

Have a look around the forum, there are lots of people like me who can give you advice and get things sorted. Its up to you whether you take it, but you could at least try to understand the advice and not make fun or call them sunshine.</description>
