You should not rely on the maps but rather check with payg Sims before committing to a contract. If you are within 7 days you can return and walk away.

Hi. I got an iphone for my son this week and checked the coverage before we got it. He wants to use internet in his school grounds and the map said that there was a strong signal but he is t getting 3 g there at all. Some of his friends do but I assume they are on a different network. Is there anything I can do about this or should I return the phone and try a different provider?
Hi. I think I can return the phone and wondered about taking a contract with EE as they seem to have 4g in my area but they seem to get really bad reviews so I'm not sure what to do.

Hi and Welcome to the Forum,

In my experience ee give good data deals and coverage, but fall down on making phone calls due to signal.

You can request a free ee sim online and give it a run to see how they perform.
