I have returned my nokia 7 00 for a second time for repair. The first time was because it locked me out as I did not know the password. This was repaired under warranty. I had just got it set up but it would not connect to the web. The guru I contacted tried to connect but could not, he informed me that it was freezing at the browser and would have to go back from whence it came. I have just traced it and as it is now shows out of warranty will I be charged for the repair? Had the phone been properly tested the first time surely the fault would have shown up then. I will be very dismayed if this is to cost me hard cash. Any advice or comment would be appreciated On returning to trace it now shows RF Test. Can anyone inform me as to what this pertains to, as I am none the wiser. The guru I was in contact with said that they might renew the phone thought I doubt it. Hope to hear from someone soon as I am, at present using an old xpress music 5530 and missingt he c7 00.

You have one years warranty on the phone.

Go into the shop and enquire about sending it off for repair if covered under warranty.

It's possible the fault you have now happened after leaving the repair centre.

I assume rf test is Radio Frequency.

Hi,

The security password is there for a very good reason which is to stop unauthorised access to the mobile phone.

I suggest you keep trying known passwords to you or seek assistance from a nokia repair outlet.
