Personal hotspot

I am trying to set up my personal hotspot however when I do I get a message coming up saying
"to enable personal hotspot on this account, visit http:www.02.co.uk/iphonehelp/modem"
So I go to this and it says 'file not found'
Can anyone help please?????

what tariff are you on? sounds like and old non tethering included tariff.

I spoke to someone at O2 two days ago and they should have added a bolt on for tethering? But when I try hotspots it dont respond?? Maybe I need to speak to them again!

Try a reset network settings.
If that fails call them again.

Sorry for the bump, but I've been having the same problem and found the solution. According to O2 customer services, tethering on iphone is only possible on the specific iphone data bolt on - in my case they had set my account up incorrectly using the wrong bolt on.
