Scam ?

Hi , I have been having phone calls and emails from supposedly Virgin/O2.

Saying my sim is going to be blocked, due to the ongoing transition if I dont do certain things they ask of me. This has got to be a scam surely, has anyone else had this happen?

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text or number to 7726 - It's free.
