I no longer travel abroad but I doubt I'd be messing about with an esim if I was still with O2. They seem to have major issues just for general use in the UK, so I'm not sure what would happen if you installed another for travel?

Would you need to 'delete' your O2 Esim?

Anyway, I'd stick to the EU. 😂

I can see this as physical "stuff" is being discarded as much as possible. Not good.

I'm afraid eSIMs will become the norm in the not too distant future.

I notice the Article was written by an American so both Apple and Google have removed SIM cards.

My setup here is one plastic (O2) and two eSIMs (Voxi and Spusu).

I swapped handsets with the Voxi and that was a painless process. Took about 5 minutes
