Switch up ?

Can i get peoples thoughts on this scuff on my iPhone am about to return under o2 switch up.

i wish i hadn't “googled” it lol, but I've read lots now about phones not getting accepted, i hadn’t really even considered this would be an issue.

Do you think all good just send it in ? Or, i have read you can get a grading completed in store, which is safer ?

i understand everyone aren't staff on here, just looking for opinions.

The rest of the iPhone doesn’t have a mark on it.

That should be fine (based on my experience of switch up's but all done in store), but the final decision will be with Ingram Micro, unfortunately you cant do anything in store as the switch up needs to be done completely in store..

Only thing you can do is send it in, take plenty of photos and video, and hope for the best..

@Number_3I have done two switch ups through the post, my other half has done one but I sorted it all for her. I take photos of every inch of the devices, we keep the phone boxes, wrap the actual phones in bubble wrap, place these in the boxes, wrap the boxes in bubble wrap and then place in a parcel bag wrapping that round until the boxes essentially cannot move around in the bags during transit. I also put a note in there telling them exactly what I’ve done.

Thanks @Benlfc its def not a chip , its a scuff. But i suppose its subjective, which is why they word it that way.

To me that looks like a scuff rather than a chip.. I have done switch up's in store with similiar...
It is very subjective though, and to be honest the guys in Ingram Micro may or may not even notice it..

Had confirmation email from O2, receipt of phone and approval of switch up, phone passed its checks no issues. 😎
