Barley getting 4G, more often getting poor 3G. 5G is almost non existent. Had better network coverage 25years ago. Could make phone call at least or pull up a browser.

wifi carries the network and covers the dreadful connectivity. Only until the WiFi is down or out and about you realise how terrible the coverage is everywhere.

been this way for a year, getting bit fed up the network isn’t there when it’s needed for a phone call or a message.

In the middle of posting this message when I received a notification that I couldn’t post because of “network connectivity problems”. Simple tasks become a laborious effort. It’s 2025!!!!!

There are a few things that can get in the way, even assuming your actual O2 signal is good, but too many subscribers are connected to the same mast - oversubscription

If you decide to switch provider, do get a selection of PAYG SIMs from other carriers and test each for the 30-day initial top up period.

WiFi is a wireless connection between a mobile device & broadband router.

Mobile network coverage is a different thing.
