Changing Iphone tariff

The O2 website for IPhone tariffs states that you can change tariff one a month. HOWEVER, I phone Iphone customer service today to be told that if I change up to the £45 tariff, I will have to stay on that until I have been connected on Iphone for 9 months????

They told me that this was in the T&Cs but I cant fin it anywhere - the only reference that I found in relation to changing tariffs was that you can do it once a month!

Does anyone know whether you can change up to the £45 tariff and then down again or do you need to stay on the higher tariff as O2 told me???

from what I understand you can increase your plan but like 3 and other networks reducing it isnt as easy.

I believe you can change up or down;

Q: Can I change my tariff after I've activated?
A: Yes, you can change to any of the other O2 tariffs for iPhone up to once per month.

They provide a form at https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid ... one_tariff for changing your tariff... try that ?

(It's not that uncommon for O2 Customer Services to be wrong on the phone)
