Dell Streak what a mess

I have installed 2.1 what a mistake, now i have dropped phone onto the carpet no more that 2ft drop and so called gorilla glass (my ****) has smashed with no replacement available.
Any ideas people?

i have protect my bubble insurance, but the point is it is supposed to be tuffened glass.and 2ft onto carpet is not a plummit to earth.

Highly doubt their is any other way to get the handset repaired except from insurace or paying for it to be repaired.
Dropped it from two foot? What are you a dwarf?

It would have to be an insurance claim as it certainly won't be covered by warranty and I wouldn't hold out much hope trying to claim it as a manufacturing defect. Most home insurance policies should cover damage to a specific item.
