Cancel watch data after 2 years.

I bought an Apple Watch 7 two years ago, when I took it out the device plan was three years and I could cancel airtime plan after two years.

I tried cancelling my data plan, which they said I could, but I would need to pay the balance of the watch off. This is not how it reads when taking it out. It reads I can cancel my data plan and carry on paying monthly for last year of watch. Is this correct and are they fobbing myself off?

That is certainly true for a phone which does have airtime separately

Not sure it would apply with a watch which doesn't have airtime

It is a data plan not airtime

Maybe get confirmation from the social media team using the link below
