Switch up for the iPhone 16 Pro Max

Hi,

I was wondering when the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be available for switch up in a O2 shop, for example will the shops have them in stock from the launch date or will it be a while before they have them in stock for switch up?

You can pre-order in store (after 1pm on the 13.09 )and you will be asked to pay £50 upfront to do so, and on the day of collection they can either refund it or add it to your account.

But you can do a switch up from the 20th September..

Usually they won't have any for walkins on launch day unless someone cancels and don't expect the larger storage phones to be in store..

Ah okay thanks, so if I pre order I’m guaranteed to get what I’ve paid for on launch day?

And just to clarify, can I go in anytime from now to do the pre order? And with the pre order is it as simple as going in telling them what I want paying and then leaving? Or will they go through all the questions and credit check like they do when you go in to do switch up any other time? Or will that be when I go back on launch day?

No guarantees as depends on how many the store receive and how many pre-order, but you just walk in explain to them what you want to do, and then pay the deposit and walk out and wait for a text or phone call from them... and then when you go in to get the phone the Switchup is processed.
