Obtaining a PAC code when SIM not working

Well despite 4 calls to customer service and 4 hours of my time i was firmly told that i could not get a PAC code if i did not have a working SIM - i sim which o2 coul'nt get working. Walked into o2 shop with the answers to the same security questions i had given customer service and the o2 representative said - give me bit of paper and i'll just write it down. What a hero!

I explained that o2 customer service were adamant i could not get a PAC code without a working SIM - he said " they do that all the time but they are wrong"

Got PAC code off to EE.

@Hendog O2 customer service over the phone continues to drop the ball on a daily basis.
